Adopt-a-Family 2011
Briarwick Neighbors,
I just wanted to thank you for your overwhelming generosity in donating to our 2011 Shepherd Center family. I was amazed at the outpouring of gifts and was very proud to drop off four large lawn and leaf bags filled with gifts! Overall we collected $350 in cash, $225 in gift cards and tons of clothes and toys. Each child received everything on their list and then some!
I realize we are living in hectic and tough economic times and really appreciate you all making the extra effort to support those less fortunate. I am proud to be a part of this community!

Dear Neighbors,
Thanks to all of you that donated to our Shepherd Center family. Because of your generosity we were able to contribute $180 in cash, $100 in various gift cards and several of the requested items on the family’s list. I’m sure that our donations went a long way into giving that family a VERY merry Christmas!

2010 Holiday Caroling & Socializing
Caroling and refreshments on Tuesday, December 21st.
- This is an outdoor event. Dress for the weather and festivity.
- Bring your own mug for Hot Holiday drinks!
- Socializing continues with refreshments following the neighborhood caroling

2009 Holiday
Our thanks go out to Dawn and Bryn Warner for hosting the Briarwick Holiday Party at their home on Friday, Dec 18th. All the neighbors that attended had a wonderful time! There was also a visit from Santa Claus on the night before aboard the East Lake Fire Truck. There is a slideshow featuring photos from these events on the photos page.

I just wanted to thank you for all for your generous support of our Shepherd Center family. In today’s economy, it’s not easy to find the extra money (or the time) to help those less fortunate than ourselves but you guys really came through! With everyone’s help, not only were we able to fulfill their wish lists, but also provided gift cards from Publix, Target and Walmart AND a generous cash donation. I think Family #16 is going to have a VERY merry Christmas this year!

2009 Community Yard Sale
Our Community yard sale was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Approximately 9 homes participated in this successful event.
